        Simone Maier’s jewelry could be said to have jumped off the drawing board: her 18K gold link chains are inspired by sketches, capturing the spontaneity and even the shading of charcoal on paper.  The most successful of these designs integrate rows of handmade 18K gold paper-like links that create delightful necklaces that are glamorous yet casual.  Simone Maier’s chain collection is enhanced by earrings and bracelets, inspired by works on paper.  Earrings include a square double-layered post impressed with leaves in relief – like pressed leaves on paper – and a simple double layered cuff.  Simone Maier and her husband and partner Joachim Beck are goldsmiths who live and work in Germany.
