Sydney Lynch is an accomplished metalsmith and designer whose jewelry includes both one-of-a-kind jewels and multiples, each piece made by hand in her studio.  Most of the collection is executed in bi-metal – an alloy of 22K or 18K golds and sterling silver – that allows her to contrast yellow gold surfaces with oxidized sterling silver for the dramatic designs for which she is known.  Colorful cabochon gems – including peridot, aquamarine, iolite, tourmaline, moonstone and pearls – are a signature in her work.  Many of her works seem to be drawings or sketches, brought to three-dimensional reality in precious metals so they can be worn.
