Claude Chavent creates his extraordinary trompe l'oeil images in sterling silver and 18K gold. The wearable forms- seemingly voluminous cubes, pyramids, circles and wedges - are actually constructed of thin sheets of precious metals whose geometry is so precise that the implied dimensions appear to be real. He has exhibited his work throughout Europe in galleries and exhibitions.
