Enamel Brooch

Earl Pardon (1926-1991) is a Modernist jewelry artist whose multi-media works -- in silver and gold, on canvas, and sculpture -- are in many museums and private collections. Here, a collage brooch, three panels of painted kiln-fired enamel in a color composition primarily in purple, red and 24K gold, is set in sterling silver, accented with blue topaz, citrine and rhodolite garnet. Brooch measures 2-1/4" x 1-1/2".
