Earl Pardon created a sculptural group of work in gold in the 1970's and 1980's using individually assembled 14K gold wires and bars, which became known as his 'nest' series, although his intention was undoubtedly more sculptural and abstract than figurative. Here, one of these necklaces 1-3/8" in diameter, with three black pearls, and a 14K gold wire chain, 16-1/2" long.
