These amethyst and 18K yellow gold earrings feature the newly innovated 'Mantis' cut by world-renowned gem sculptor Tom Munsteiner. Zig-zagged incisions in the back of the stone create a stiking play of light and even reveal hints of golden hues within the purple gems. Two long vertical facets on top of each stone provide a contrast between gleaming planes of light and the angular sparkles contained within. The rectangular amethysts are set within wide bezels of 18K matte finish yellow gold. Earrings measure about 5/8" across x 3/4" high, and have post backs with omega clips.
