Arata Fuchi's series of wearable sculptures in the "Bud' series explore the intersection of precious metal -- sterling silver and pure gold -- and organic form. Here, his 'Bud' eardrops are comprised of oxidized and patinated sterling and sterling powder creating a twig0like structure from which the 24K gold beaded 'buds' emerge. 2-1/2" long.
