This magnificent pendant/necklace was created by the late Ute Buge, partner of master goldsmith/artist Wilhelm Buchert of Germany, in the elegant, minimalist style for which they are known. The 2-5/8" diameter pendant is fabricated entirely in 22K gold, the outer bezel framing the recessed center, a 3.38 carat citrine and 0.15 ct diamond set against a platinum-fused gold background. This is an extraordinary modern necklace, on an 18K gold coil, circa 2003.
