18K white and yellow gold Audemars Piguet, circa 1950s, is a very fine and unusual, sapphire-set 18K white and yellow gold wristwatch with sapphire indexes. The three part case measures 29mm in diameter, with a wide flat bezel set with 12 rectangular-cut sapphire hour markers, straight lugs, and flat crystal. The off-white dial features painted radial hour indexes, subsidiary seconds register and yellow gold bâton hands. The movement is calibre 9’’’, rhodium plated, 18 jewels, warrantied by Aaron Faber for 18 months.
