Stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Chronometer, Ref. 6085, made in the early 1950s, is a center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with a stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet. The 34mm case has a screwed-down case back and crown, and reeded graduated bezel. The dial is matte silver with applied steel dart indexes and luminous dots, and luminous steel alpha hands. The movement is calibre 645, 17 jewels, automatic, warrantied by Aaron Faber for 12 months. This is a classic mid-century classic that we do not see on the market often.
