Belle Brooke jewelry is known for its visual signature: Brooke’s gold or silver circles set with diamonds in a frame of contrasting oxidized sterling. The craftsmanship and balance of the precious metals and colorful gems she achieves in each work is noteworthy. About her work, the artist states, “An effervescent matrix of tiny circles balances strong lines in each of my collections, creating movement and flow akin to that of a living organism. From this, symmetry and harmony emerge in otherwise asymmetrical designs. Each design incorporates both yin and yang energy to realize its fullest composition. The circle is present in our universe on all levels, from microscopic examination of the tiniest organism to the largest, most incomprehensible ball of everything, the universe itself. It symbolizes flow, completion, cycle, and most importantly – harmony. The wearer shall be grounded in the power of the circle. Chaos is present in all of us and in everything; each piece represents the power to organize from within”
.Belle Brooke received a BA in Art from Pitzer College, studied goldsmithing at Revere Academy, and worked as a goldsmith before opening her own studio. She has won many design and jewelry awards, including the Spectrum award (AGTA), JA New Designer of Year award, Niche award, JCK Rising Star.
