Hamilton Gold-Filled Pacer by Richard Arbib
Vintage Hamilton two-tone yellow and white gold-filled ‘Pacer’ model, ca. 1960’s, in Richard Arbib’s avant-garde asymmetrical case that made Hamilton design famous at mid-century. The case is yellow gold-fill, measuring 33mm wide and 45mm high at the the longest points, with white gold-filled lugs. Black dial has applied gold Arabic and arrow hour markers, gold dauphine hands and red-tipped constant seconds hands. The movement was Hamilton’s innovative technology in the 1950’s, combining a battery for the first time, powering a mechanical movement, warrantied by Aaron Faber for 12 months.
