Jennifer Trask: Chartreuse Necklace

“Chartreuse Necklace” is a painterly composition from Jennifer Trask, in brilliant pastel shades of yellow green and white. The sterling silver and nickel titanium links, 5/8″ to 1″ in diameter are tiny compartments filled with artist’s materials: crushed mica, powdered pigments including Blythe Naples Yellow and Prederit Yellow, mica powder, Priamus and Papilio Halmanera butterfly wings, faceted round peridots and lemon quartz, money plant, and a cabochon moonstone at the clasp. The necklace is 17″ long, adjustable with the shepherd’s-hook clasp.
