Piranha Ring

Arata Fuchi’s Piranha sculpture/ring captures the menace and grandeur of its title, with its bifurcated black and white opposing forms, the black oxidized shibuichi side inset with pure gold weaving and granulation, the matte finished sterling side inlaid with oxidized pure silver granules, the gold and silver-tipped spokes at center seeming in opposition. The ring sculpture measures 2″ x 1-1/2″ x 3″ high and is fully three-dimensional.
