Rare Steel Hamilton Odysee 2001 Automatic Wristwatch
Highly collectible stainless steel asymmetric Hamilton Odyssee 2001, circa 1969, was inspired by Hamilton’s prototype made for the Kubrick movie 2001 in 1967, then issued a few years later to the market. The futuristic design features an asymmetric 37mm case with screw-down back, recessed Hamilton crown, two-tone black and silver dial, the outer hour dial with cut-out hour indexes, inner seconds reserve, center second sweep and luminous arrow hands. The chainmail bracelet is original to the watch. The automatic mechanical movement is warrantied by Aaron Faber for 12 months.
