Gold-plated Zodiac automatic SST36000, circa 1970’s, was an innovative technology in watchmaking, creating a movement with a frequency of 36,000 beats per hour, guaranteed at that time to be the most accurate watches in the world. This version is an exaggerated 40mm x 46mm 1970’s tonneau case, solid steel back, oval polished bezel, oval goldtone dial with day and date window, center second sweep hand — which sweeps so smoothly because of that high frequency — and luminous hands. The automatic mechanical movement is warrantied by Aaron Faber for 1 year.
