Atelier Munsteiner: 'Magic Face' Tourmalinated Quartz Ring

Tom Munsteiner's 'Magic Face' cut -- a circle beneath the cabochon top-- creates a crystal ball effect in this13.65 carat tourmalinated quartz gem, the delicate needles of the tourmaline inclusions creating a web-like effect within the stone. The ring, set open work 18K yellow gold, measures 3/4" diameter x 1/4" above the hand.
