18K gold rare Patek Philippe Ref. 1559, circa mid-1940's, the case measures 22mm x 39mm with stepped curved lugs. The silvered 'split' dial features gold Arabic hours and a subsidiary seconds register. The caseback is slightly curved with a detailed engraved landscape of castle and lake, probably by famed casemaker Francis Baumgartner SA who was known to engrave these casebacks. The manual wind movement is the iconic caliber 9"'90.made by Patek from 1934 to 1967 and warrrantied today by Aaron Faber for two years.
