Tod Pardon's early brooch shows his transitional style, working in wood and resin inlay, in an abstract compositional style that pre-dates his obsession with anthropomorphic figures and the psyche. Here, a compact brooch of sterling silver, dyed black pearls, hematite, colorful red resin, and bone in a brooch that measures 1" at the widest x 4-1/2" long.
