Georg Jensen Garnet Brooch

Georg Jensen stering silver and garnet brooch, circa 1940's, designed by Georg Jensen himself, the flower basket design with two sterling roses in relief flanking the center garnet cabochon flower at top. The brooch measures 2" x 1-5/8". This design, #67, was handmade, as Jensen's jewelry always has been, the sculptural forms hammered into templates by trained silversmiths at the Jensen workshop in Denmark.
