Gilbert Albert (1930-2019) created one-of-a-kind jewels, using unusual gemstones and his design esthetic inspired by nature and the sacred beetles of Egyptian jewelry. Here, he clusters remarkably vivid gems -- tourmaline slices in raspberry and tri-colors of red, green and yellow-gold., faceted pear-shape tourmalines, and a bi-color ametrine drop at bottom, all accented with freshwater pearls and diamonds. The brooch/pendant measures 2" x 3-1/2" x 3/8" deep. Can be worn over any chain or coil as a necklace.
