Mirjam Hiller: Enamelled Steel Brooch, Circa 2015

Mirjam Hiller is an internationally known German jewelry artist whose oversize bold color sculpted jewels are at once experimental and wearable. Here, she cuts sheet stainless steel to create a flora inspired oversize brooch from a single piece of metal, each cut made by her hand, then forms it and enamels in bright orange. The brooch measures 4-1/2" x 4-1/4" x 1-1/2" deep. Double pin stem back.
