The rare Rolex anomaly: from the 1950's until production ended in the late 1980's, the Ref. 6694 remained a manual wind wristwatch. The military style steel Rolex Oysterdate, made in 1982, is a water-resistant, center seconds, tonneau-shaped stainless steel wristwatch with date, strap and Rolex steel buckle. The 35mm case has concave lugs, polished inclined bezel, screw-down case back and crown, crystal with cyclops lens. The black dial features baton hour indexes, luminous dots and outer minute/second division, aperture for the date, and epee hands. The movement is caliber 1215, 17 jewels, warrantied by Aaron Faber for 12 months.
