Waltham Hunting Case

The American Waltham Watch Company made millions of pocketwatches from the late 1800's to the mid-1900's,all well engineered and often beautifully engraved. Here,a yellow gold-filled 48mm hunting case pocketwatch,circa 1916,features a beaded bezel,double sided engraving of beach roses and twining leaves with open monogram shields at center,porcelain dial,slight crazing at 6 o'clock,with painted black Arabic hours,sunken subsidiary seconds register and blue steel spade hands. Movement warrantied by Aaron Faber for 12 months.
