Woven Gold and Silver Ring

Arata Fuchi is an extraordinarily gifted artist and metalsmith,whose diverse collection serves to inspire awe among his collectors. His organic,nature-inspired work is perhaps best known,but here he designs a nearly architectural ring,fabricated in oxidized and patinated sterling and set at center with a 'jewel' of his own making,woven strips of 24K pure gold,torched to a red-gold patina. Measures 1-5/8" w x 1" l x 1/2" above the finger.
