From Jaeger-LeCoultre, circa 1960's, a fabulous brass zodiac desk clock. This model features emerald green acrylic and gilt brass, with 8-day going visible movement.
The 5-3/8" w x 5-5/8" high square clock with stepped brass legs has a white metal hour square chapter ring with black painted triangular quarter hours and dash indexes, surrounded by silhouetted astrological signs running along all sides, with silhouetted stars in the corners. The movement is gilt-brass with linear wheel train, 15 jewels, warrantied by Aaron Faber for 12 months. This is a greatly stylized mid-century design.
