CONSIGNMENT
TIME TO SELL?
Aaron Faber sells vintage and collectible timepieces on behalf of clients and the public.
We work in two ways: outright purchase or consignment. Our buyer will inspect and evaluate your watch or timepieces and establish two prices: one to buy outright and another, higher amount to consign. These prices are the amount you receive and we recommend you choose the second option—consignment—if you do not need the money immediately.
Once agreed upon, a consignment contract is drawn up with the amount you will receive upon sale of the item or items. The property remains yours until it is sold and paid for and you can retrieve it at any time. It is insured while in our possession.
We sell most items within six to eight weeks, and payment is made to you 36 days from the date of sale. Most of our sellers choose consignment, since they receive a higher price than outright purchase.
