Gold-Filled Rare Hamilton Meteor Circa 1962

The Hamilton Electric Meteor is a fabulous design, circa 1962, from designer Richard Arbib, and this Meteor is one of only 3000 made by Hamilton, of which only 1500 have the sought-after black and gold dial. It is a 10K yellow gold-filled asymmetric case, measuring 29mm across and 40mm, lug to lug end, with 10K Hamilton buckle. The movement is the famous Hamilton 505 movement, mechanical with battery power. The futuristic Hamilton asymmetrics are the most collectible of the mid-century American watches.
