18K Minute Repeating Pocket Watch

Rare 18K yellow gold hunting case minute repeater from watchmaker Auguste Saltzmann, circa 1890’s, is a 54mm pocket watch with engine-turned front and back, engraved cuvette with signature, protected movement. The white porcelain dial has slim stylized Roman numerals, sunken subsidiary seconds register and blackened steel Breguet hands. The minute repeater chiming is strong and noticeably musical. The movement is warrantied by Aaron Faber for 2 years.
