JE Caldwell 14K Split Chronograph Pocket Watch

14K yellow gold split seconds chronograph and register, made in Switzerland for J. E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia. circa 1910. The 14K gold case has a concealed hinge, gold cuvette, and decorative monogram on the back. The dial
is double sunk white enamel with painted Arabic numerals, outer minute and chronograph divisions, subsidiary seconds and minute register dials, gold ‘Louis XVI’ hands. 21 jewel movement, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, ‘swan-neck’ micrometer regulator, visible chronograph works, split-seconds mechanism under the dial. Dial, case and movement signed, 48 mm diameter. Warrantied by Aaron Faber for 2 years. Pocket watch chain sold separately.
