Sharon Church: Asymmetrical Drop Earrings

From a private estate, a rare find, asymmetrical sterling, 14K gold and diamond earrings, circa late 1980’s, by peerless metalsmith, designer and educator Sharon Church (1948-2022). The earrings measure 1″ x 1-1/4″ [small] and 1-1/2″ x 2-3/4″ [long]. Church’s work is in numerous collections both public and private, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Smithsonian, MFA Boston and MFA Houston among others.
