Waltham Hunting Case
The American Waltham Watch Company made millions of pocketwatches from the late 1800’s to the mid-1900’s, all well engineered and often beautifully engraved. Here, a yellow gold-filled 48mm hunting case pocketwatch, circa 1916, features a beaded bezel, double sided engraving of beach roses and twining leaves with open monogram shields at center, porcelain dial, slight crazing at 6 o’clock, with painted black Arabic hours, sunken subsidiary seconds register and blue steel spade hands. Movement warrantied by Aaron Faber for 12 months.
